Our NHS Client based just outside of Newcastle upon Tyne requires cover in a Resource Administrator post for a 4 week period initially.
Job Summary
• To engage in the effective use of the computerised staff rostering system. To support the Resource Administrators in providing appropriate resourcing levels within divisions of the organisation, through effective communication with operational staff to achieve the companies agreed performance standards.
• To provide efficient and effective administrative support service within the Resource Department to agreed standards.
• To provide appropriate administrative support service to operational management.
Key Result Areas
* Using the rostering system to support all areas of operational staffing levels and resourcing issues
* Communicating with staff via e-mail and telephone on a daily basis
* General filing duties, i.e collection of the post, filing fit notes, welcome back forms
* To be able to work in a team environment but be self motivated and be able to work independently at times
* Support the Resource Administrator with Annual Leave requests, Sickness Absence, Training abstractions and adhoc abstractions
* To maintain the data protections of operational staff personal details and process all requests for staff contact information from relevant Department/Divisional Managers, Police, HQ Support Services Departments
* Required to have a flexible approach in supporting the department and recognise the need to adapt to the requirements when achieve deadlines and with respect to covering shifts
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of five GCSE’s including Maths or English.
Previous administration experience
Good keyboard skills i.e. RSA 2 Typing or equivalent experience.
Good Communication skills
Knowledge of MS Office packages.
Desirable – rostering experience
