We are looking to recruit an experienced and confident Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an established finance team. The role will report the the Management Accountant.

Working within a small finance team, this is a stand alone ledger position therefore you must have experience and be confident in all areas of purchase ledger.

You will be able to process high invoice levels to deadline and build a good rapport with suppliers.

Key elements:-

- Matching invoices to delivery notes
- Coding to purchase orders
- Inputting and processing high invoice levels
- Chasing overcharges
- Coding to nominal
- Prepayments
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Bank reconciliations (as required)

This is a permanent position. Ideally our client is looking for someone with Sage 200 experience, it is also important that you have a minimum of 4 years pure purchase ledger experience and that you enjoy working in this area of accounts.

Ad-hoc duties may be given but your responsibility will lie within AP.
