Our client, a manufacturing company based in Sunderland are looking to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk.

You will be reporting to the Financial Controller and take responsibility for all purchase ledger duties for a specific region.

Our client is looking for someone with a 'hands on' approach and who can show flexibility re ad-hoc tasks that may arise.

You will be confident within this area of finance and have a professional manner when dealing with suppliers.

* Coding and batching purchase invoices
* Processing high volumes of invoices on a monthly basis
* Dealing with and resolving supplier queries
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Assisting with month end procedures as required ie accruals
* Ad-hoc finance duties
