Our client are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Account to work within a busy finance team based in Gateshead
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting duties including the following:-
Coding of invoices and entry of journals.
Accruals & prepayments.
Assisting with monthly management accounts.
Assisting with budgeting / forecasting process.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Assisting the accounts payable team on an ad-hoc basis.
Producing financial reports as requested.
This position will suit candidates who are soon to complete their AAT and are looking to progress with further study, or those who are in the early stages of CIMA / ACCA. Candidates without accountancy qualifications will also be considered.
Experience in management accounts would be advantageous, strong Excel skills are essential.
