We are seeking to recruit an experienced Group Accountant/Financial Controller to work from their Head Office in Stockton. Your will report to the Managing Director with a dotted line the the FD (soon to go on maternity leave)
This opportunity is on a contact basis for a period of 6 - 9 month.
They are looking for someone who can commit to the contract, a loyalty bonus will be put in place.
You will provide financial support to the Finance Director across the Group.
Key areas:
- Supervision of 6 staff
- Production of management accounts for several companies to deadline
- VAT returns for several companies within the Group
- Liaising with banks/solicitors/HMRC/auditors as required
- Cashflow management
- Group insurances
- Supplying management information
- Ad-hoc duties as required by the MD
You must have a flexible attitude/approach, be able to lead and support an established finance team and be willing to deal in all areas of the management accounts process should it be required.
As this is a maternity cover, my client is looking for someone to commence employment in the next 4 weeks.
