Accounts Assistant
Salary: £22000 - £25000
Location: Stocksfield
KCR Solutions is excited to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to work for this successful growing organisation on the outskirts of Stocksfield. Reporting to the Financial Controller, your duties will be as follows:
- Assisting the finance team to ensure that all client money is accounted for correctly and accurately
- Processing all purchase invoices, ensuring the purchase ledger reconciles to the general ledger
- Identifying payments required each month and initiating them at the bank
- Processing employee expenses and credit card invoices, reconciling to statements
- Using accounting software to enter data and transactions regarding income and expenditure
- Recording fixed asset transactions, calculating depreciation and maintaining the fixed asset register
- Recording and reconciling prepayments and accruals
- Ensuring pass-through payments are recovered from clients
- Preparing ad hoc reports for review by the Financial Controller
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
- Other duties as required by the business
You will have worked in a similar role previously, be a confident user of Excel and ideally will be AAT part qualified or qualified by experience.
