Job Description

KCR Solutions are looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant for our client based in South Shields. The salary is between £20,000 to £25,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  1. Preparation of monthly management accounts pack
  2. Daily updated to weekly cash flow forecasts
  3. Balance sheet reconciliations
  4. Preparing and processing journals
  5. VAT returns and reconciliation
  6. Credit control including sales ledger
  7. Supporting the finance team including Contract Costing, Purchase Ledger and Cashiering
  8. Involvement with monthly stocktakes and valuation
  9. Processing payroll for weekly paid staff
  10. Statutory returns
  11. Reporting in to the Finance Director regarding any other ad hoc exercises
  12. Work within the company guidelines

Skills and Experience: 

  1. Previous accounting experience in a busy finance department
  2. Qualified to AAT Level 3 or equivalent
  3. Accuracy of work
  4. Great interpersonal and communication skills
  5. Self-discipline and flexibility
  6. Good team working skills
  7. The ability to work monthly/weekly deadlines
  8. IT Literate with knowledge of Sage Line50c and advanced MS Excel skills would be a distinct advantage

 

Hours – 8.00-17.00 Mon – Thursday / 08.00-14.30 Friday

Holidays – 25 days pa + bank holidays
