KCR Solutions are currently seeking a Financial Controller to work for our client in Newcastle.
Salary £45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting reconciliations
- Cashflow management
- Reconciliation of monthly contract costs with accounts costs
- Bank reconciliations
- Invoice discounting – managing facility
- VAT returns
- Preparation of applications and invoices to customers for ongoing contracts
- Making payments to suppliers and subcontractors
- Preparation of the year end draft accounts (to include accruals, prepayments, FAR, HP, other debtors, VAT & Directors Loan account and intercompany)
- Assisting auditors when appropriate during year-end audit
- Monthly payroll and returns to HMRC
- Wages journals
- Monthly timesheet checks
- CIS returns/submission
- PAYE/NI reconciliation
- Annual returns to companies house
- Management of the company auto enrolled pension scheme
- Manage petty cash
- Knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Sage 50 Payroll essential.
- Knowledge of Eque2 Contract Costing desirable. (Sage based product).
