KCR Solutions are currently seeking an Internal Auditor to join our client based in Leeds.

Responsibilities

1.Planning the nature, timing and extent of engagement procedures

2.Perform effective planning and fieldwork to ensure quality audit engagements with appropriate documentation within budget and time-scale

3.Identify root causes of issues in audit engagements

4.Communication of issues in a timely manner – Follow-up on management actions as directed

5.Perform tests of control across the Group

6.Review of balance sheets to identify any material misstatements

7.Working with management to develop audit plans, policies and standards

8.Keep up to date with relevant Internal Audit best practice and new developments

9.Assist Group Internal Audit Manager in preparing deliverables to management, Board and Audit Committee

Skills required

1.Exposure to a fast moving corporate environment

2.Awareness and ability to deploy various auditing techniques

3.Ability to analyse complex processes

4.Effective use of written and verbal communication skills

5.Excellent problem solving skills

6.Basic Principles and practices of legal and financial requirements

7.Ability to recognise indicators of fraud
