Part Time Credit Controller

KCR Solutions are currently working on behalf of a successful technology company based in Gateshead. They are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy finance team on a Part Time basis (24 hours per week).
The role is an interesting, busy and fast paced role. The salary is competitive at £23,000 – £25,000 pro rata.
Purpose of the Role
Working within a busy 4 person accounts office providing timely and accurate accounting support
Position in Organisation
- Reports to the Financial Controller
- Liaises with employees at all levels within the organisation
Accounts office experience essential
Knowledge of and practical experience of MRP systems (training given for our Kingfisher system)
- Credit Control (average £1.0m per month)
- Ensuring debts collected in a timely manner
- Communication with customers by phone, email, letter
- Liaising with sales and project teams
- Handling internal and external queries
- Sending out monthly statements
- Police credit limits
