Job Description

KCR Solutions are currently working on behalf of a successful technology company based in Gateshead. They are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy finance team on a Part Time basis (24 hours per week).

The role is an interesting, busy and fast paced role. The salary is competitive at £23,000 – £25,000 pro rata.

Purpose of the Role

Working within a busy 4 person accounts office providing timely and accurate accounting support

Position in Organisation

  1. Reports to the Financial Controller
  2. Liaises with employees at all levels within the organisation

Experience/Knowledge

Accounts office experience essential

Basic bookkeeping

Knowledge of and practical experience of MRP systems (training given for our Kingfisher system)

Responsibilities

  • Credit Control (average £1.0m per month)
    • Ensuring debts collected in a timely manner
    • Communication with customers by phone, email, letter
    • Liaising with sales and project teams
    • Handling internal and external queries
    • Sending out monthly statements
    • Police credit limits
