Job Description

KCR Solutions are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk on a 12 month contract for an excellent client in Newcastle.

Salary – £19,000 to £20,000

Responsibilities

  1. Reporting to the team leader/deputy team leader on day to day work related issues and to work closely with other staff within the team and other parts of finance
  2. Reconciling supplier statements
  3. Processing and input of supplier invoices and staff expense claim forms
  4. Issuing of BACS
  5. Dealing with queries – written and verbal
  6. Ensuring that VAT and tax rules and regulations and rigidly adhered too
  7. Ad hoc administrative duties
  8. To develop technical expertise in finance systems used and assist with any future potential software development

Skills Required

  1. Experience of working within a team environment.
  2. Excellent attention to detail and good organisation skills.
  3. Strong customer service focus and good communications skills
  4. Commitment to continuous improvement.
  5. Experience of working in Purchase Ledger.
  6. Transactional processing experience, good level of speed and accuracy.
  7. Knowledge and experience of using Concur, Oracle, JDE or other ERP Finance Systems.
