Accounts Payable Clerk – 12 Month Contract
KCR Solutions are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk on a 12 month contract for an excellent client in Newcastle.
Salary – £19,000 to £20,000
- Reporting to the team leader/deputy team leader on day to day work related issues and to work closely with other staff within the team and other parts of finance
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Processing and input of supplier invoices and staff expense claim forms
- Issuing of BACS
- Dealing with queries – written and verbal
- Ensuring that VAT and tax rules and regulations and rigidly adhered too
- Ad hoc administrative duties
- To develop technical expertise in finance systems used and assist with any future potential software development
- Experience of working within a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and good organisation skills.
- Strong customer service focus and good communications skills
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Experience of working in Purchase Ledger.
- Transactional processing experience, good level of speed and accuracy.
- Knowledge and experience of using Concur, Oracle, JDE or other ERP Finance Systems.
