Job Description

KCR Solutions are looking to recruit a Purchase ledger for an excellent client in Ashington.

Maternity Cover – 15 months

Salary – £18,000 to £22,000

Responsibilities

  1. Post all purchase invoices and credit notes
  2. Reconcile supplier statements
  3. Manage and prepare supplier payment runs
  4. Deal with all supplier queries
  5. Chase short and missing supplier deliveries
  6. Create purchase orders for marketing and technical
  7. Process all credit card and cash expenses
  8. Managing all credit card balance limits and transaction queries
  9. Supplier rebate calculation

Skills Required         

  1. Prior purchase ledger experience
  2. Excellent communication (verbal, written, formal presentations) skills
  3. Strong interpersonal skills
  4. Positive, energetic and enthusiastic approach
  5. Able to instigate and manage solutions to operational problems
  6. Using initiative to ensure best outcomes for customer deliveries
  7. Able to build relationships (both internal and external)
  8. Able to prioritise and work under pressure
  9. Well organised and methodical work ethic

Desirable

  1. Working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts
