Job Description

KCR Solutions are recruiting a Purchase Ledger Supervisor for an excellent client based in Newcastle on a permanent basis. Salary is £22,000 to £25,000 depending on experience. Role:

  1. The purpose of the role is to manage key functions within accounts payable and expenses
  2. You will look to optimise transactional productivity and move towards PO implementation
  3. You will enhance communications with vendors and users regarding AP
  4. You may be asked to support any forthcoming implementation of system based improvement solutions
  5. You will have budgetary responsibility for the costs associated with your team and for billable hours control

Duties:

  1. Overseeing an Accounts Payable team
  2. Team performance management and development
  3. JDE and/or Concur systems
  4. Process improvement and change management
  5. Query management and excellent customer service
  6. Interacting with the business and building relationships

Requirements:

  1. A basic understanding of accounting/finance principles
  2. Computer literacy e.g. MS Outlook, Word and Excel skills at intermediate level or better
  3. A strong manager who has excelled in the leadership and development of staff in a similar position
  4. Understanding of VAT and statutory and legal requirements
  5. Ideally you will bring your knowledge of JDE /Concur modules
